THURSDAYS I POST ON CHICKLITZ

And this was my first one and I did that.

Go read it.

Yesterday, Lora got  feminist so today I got all feminist, too, and it felt like sitting in bathwater and I regret nothing.

Word Tangle

Currently, I’m working on a wiki called Word Tangle. It’s aim is to be a writing platform for the creative writing community at Ball State. It’s nothing but a wee baby right now, but check it out.

Come read about da ChickLitz!

Hey, I’ve joined this gang of writing ladies. We’re really tough shit and sometimes we steal your pets and post it on Craigslist and our punctuation is rull rull good BA-BAM.

Go look at that. It’s sparse currently, but so sincere.

THUNDERCATS ARE GO.

I have never lost a train.

I don’t even know what a train of thought would look like,
so I’m proposing a change:

Keys of thought. (or maybe)
Sock-in-the-dryer of thought. (or maybe)
Milk-carton-faces of thought. (or maybe)
Virginity of thought.

Trains are stupid. I don’t think like them at all.

We are maybe always growing (smaller).

I took your advice is a disconcerting phrase
similar to Can I have your number?
in that they are both examples of (polite) linguistic thievery.

If you took my advice. If I gave you my number.
What.
Would be left.
For me?
